"Wherever you are on your journey toward God, you are welcome to the table of our Lord." These words, or words like them, are what our priest says when inviting people to receive Holy Communion. It is part of what we mean when we say we have open doors as well as deep roots. We mean you are not only welcome but invited to come into this house of prayer and into this Way of Love, the Way of Jesus. You are invited to join with those who are already here, both living and dead--the communion of saints--whether as a newcomer to our area or new to church and the Christian faith. You are invited to come bearing your hopes and your fears, your faith and your doubt, your experience of church whether long or little or none at all. Come and see, as Jesus told his first disciples. Spend some time worshipping at our services or participating in our programs or just having fun in our fellowship events. We would love to meet you and get to know you. And if you would like to know more about us. here are links to our beliefs and practices as Christians in the Episcopal tradition, the website of our diocese, of The Episcopal Church and of the Anglican Communion (that's the deep roots part).

Where to Start
We welcome you to join us at any of our weekly services and to hang out afterwards for coffee hour in the parish hall. Alternatively, you can drop by the parish office or give us a call to arrange a time to meet Father Matt and tour the grounds. We look forward to having you in our community! What to Wear This is a question that often comes up before attending a service for the first time. Our answer is to come as you are! Most folks dress casually, some put on their Sunday best. However you dress, you are welcome. |
