Wellness Programs at Grace Church Millbrook

Wellness is not just about mental and physical health. As Eric Law writes, "Wellness means creating opportunities for people to rest, play, celebrate, give thanks, and encounter each other across class, workplace roles, societal roles, family roles, political differences. These opportunities for 'Sabbath' are wellness events." Here are some opportunities that we provide here. 

Parish Retreat

The 2020 parish retreat will take place at Holy Cross Monastery on October 23-25, 2020. The theme of the retreat will be Celtic Spirituality and will be an uplifting and important opportunity for spiritual growth and friendship. Tai Chi and Yoga

Jim Morretti offers Tai Chi classes beside the parish hall on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. 

We also have Yoga classes on Thursdays at 11am.

Prayer

Prayer is conversation, breath, dance. Prayer can be enriched through poetry, meditation, and movement. Matt explores prayer below:
