God owns everything. God gives abundantly. We are not to keep God's resources; we are to circulate these resources. God's blessings are then recycled to create more blessings." -- Eric Law, Holy Currencies
Top Ten Reasons to Make a Pledge to Grace Church!
10. The church needs money to operate and depends on the generous giving of its members. This year it needs to recover from pandemic-drivendeclines in giving and attendance. So I should give generously.
9. I can afford to give a step more than last year--or make a pledge for the first time.
8. The church is beautiful, and the worship services help connect me to God, give me food for the mind and heart, and provide a time to pray and give thanks.
7. The programs at Grace Church lift up regional high school students (EPIC), reach out to recent immigrants with many services (GIO), provide a
year of service and discernment for recent college graduates (Grace Year) and provide a community Preschool. And we also partner with Food for Life
pantry in Amenia and the Lunchbox in Poughkeepsie. All of these are well worth supporting.
6. I find community and friendship at Grace Church; we care for each other, and reach out with prayer and counseling, for example through the Prayer
Shawl Ministry and the support group for children who have lost a parent or grandparent (Hidden Angels). I want our community of friends to grow and
thrive so I volunteer and give.
5. The Church with a capital C is the Body of Christ, and as a Christian I belong; therefore I should do my part to support my local church (Grace).
4. The Church was commissioned by Jesus Christ to proclaim the good news to all people, to help those in need, and to care for creation. These
are awesome goals and responsibilities--and I can do my part by supporting the work of Grace.
3. God told Abraham, you have been blessed to be a blessing. I have been blessed by God in many ways, and one way I give thanks is to give to the
church. Through the miracle of grace, our gathered blessings flow freely to the world.
2. It seems the times are darkening and now more than ever we need the love of God in Christ proclaimed in word and deed.
1. Love. That’s why I give.

Estimated Giving
Most of our normal operating budget is supported by people who give annually an estimated amount of their income. Every fall we have a Stewardship campaign in which we invite people to join and become a Pledger. Our finance manager, David Swift, is available to discuss this; please email him at davidatgrace@aol.com.
Donate through Kindred
We appreciate the continued giving spirit of the Grace Millbrook community in supporting our programs and worship. We accept donations in person at the Parish Office or online through Kindrid and Paypal (button below).
Money is meant to circulate. Money pays the bills that keep the church's lights on, the staff paid, but most importantly, the ministries empowered, sustained, and growing. We are here to do God's work-- to heal a broken world, worship an awesome God, teach our children, and help our neighbors. There are many ways to give to the Church.
Planned Giving
The church is often a part of the lives of the people for many years. Through baptisms, weddings, and funerals, the Church is there-- for both its members and for those who come knocking at the door. We encourage you to consider the church as part of your estate planning. To learn more email the office at office@gracemillbrook.org
