Coffee Hour Hosts
You may want to be a coffee hour host if you enjoy preparing food and sharing it with others, or if you enjoy social activities. Coffee hour hosts prepare or buy treats to share at the coffee hour following one of the services. They arrive about fifteen minutes before the service and set up in the parish hall. Coffee, tea, sugar, and serving pieces are in the parish hall kitchen. The coffee hour host is responsible for providing milk/cream and any food items they may wish to share. Coffee hour hosts clean up after coffee hour. Instructions for the dishwasher are posted in the kitchen. If you would like to host coffee hour once a year or once a month, please contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may want to join the hospitality ministry if you are an organized person who enjoys welcoming and serving others. The hospitality ministry coordinates parish meals and social events. Members of the committee decide what elements are necessary for each event and they make phone calls enlisting the contributions of others. The hospitality ministry helps with set-up and clean-up for events, but the majority of their work is organizing volunteers. If you would like to join the hospitality ministry, please contact Jean Hayes at email@example.com or Betty Rae Nattiskie at Bettyrae@optimum.net.
