An Introduction to Liturgy and the Sacred Meaning of Time – Join Father Matt for two Wednesday evenings in the Parish Hall
December 7 and 14 from 7 to 8:30 pm
Liturgy is not just what we do on Sunday morning in church. It is sacramental ritual directed toward apprehending the eternal in the transient, the inward Spirit in the outward act. Come learn more about how well-designed and God-directed rituals help fill time and space with meaning and the presence of God. We will also look at the church calendar and its various seasons and their meanings, discovering how the cycles of nature and sacred history weave together each year. Finally, we will design together parts of the liturgy that we will use in Epiphany.
