PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is that preschool-aged children are bright and eager learners and should be encouraged to develop their strengths.

In an enriching atmosphere, children are encouraged to think of their teachers and their friends as their school family.

A friendly and nurturing environment supports our youngest learners as they take their first steps on a lifelong love of learning.

MISSION

Our mission at the Millbrook Community Preschool at Grace Church is to provide a safe, loving environment for our youngest learners (ages 3-5) to explore, learn, and grow.  Opportunities for imaginative play are combined with music, art, literature, math, and science in daily school activities.

1. •We strive to encourage a child’s growth in four major developmental areas: cognitive, linguistic, social/emotional, and motor skills. 
   

2. •Our team-teaching approach emphasizes small group interaction, hands-on exploration, and learning center activities.
   

3. •Daily routines include structured group activities, free play, math/science, art, music, pre-reading/writing experiences, a nutritious snack, and outdoor play.
   

4. •Special guests and local field trips provide additional enrichment and support for the theme-based curriculum.
   

5. •Children complete our program with a respect for others and themselves and an eagerness to begin kindergarten.
   

6. •We welcome and encourage parent participation in all school activities.
   

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment for the fall is ongoing. Class sizes are limited and fill quickly. A $35 non-refundable fee is required with each application. Tuition is divided into 10 monthly payments and is due at the first of each month. If you have financial need, please do not hesitate to contact the director regarding potential scholarship funding.

Monday-Friday: $390 per month

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

M/W/F: $250 per month

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

T/W/TH: $250 per month

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Tuesday/Thursday: $170 per month

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

If more than one sibling is enrolled simultaneously, a 10% discount is offered for each child after the first. All children must be potty trained.
